examinations Over the past twenty years, I have practiced as a biomedical engineer in two leading teaching hospitals. This clinical engineering practice is exclusively devoted to medical devices and involves the investigation of manufacturing defects, design defects, improper maintenance, equipment interactions, and operator errors, leading to death or serious injury to patients and clinical staff. In my current practice I investigate hospital incidents daily, working alongside doctors, nurses, and patients. Recently, I have concentrated on the regulatory and legal aspects of medical devices. In addition to my hospital background, I held an academic appointment at a University graduate school of engineering.
